My question: Is there a relationship between the obesity rates and the amount of people with diabetes.

Hypothesis: there will be a moderate correlation between these two variables, due to the increasing obesity rates from the ever growing fast food restaurants and the fact that people that are over weight can get type two diabetes.

Why I choose this question: I decided to use this data for my project because it was readily available and to show the importance of these two things for our population.

Sampling Bias: Some sampling bias could come from the data being skewed do to changes in population size, not having all the years of data for both variables. but it's clear over the years what pattern emerges.

Conclusion: As you can see from the data there was a correlation between these two variables. The factors I stated in my hypothesis may be the cause, but my independent variable wasn’t completely independent, because even people that aren’t obese can get diabetes, but the larger portion of people who do are over weight and I think that’s what gives these two variables their correlation
